Diploma in Electrical Engineering

The Diploma in Electrical Engineering at Jeypore School of Engineering and Technology (JSET), Rondapalli, near Jeypore, District Koraput, is a three-year full-time program designed to develop skilled electrical technicians and engineers to meet the growing demands of industry and infrastructure development.

This program provides a strong foundation in electrical circuits, electrical machines, power systems, control systems, electrical measurements, and basic electronics, along with extensive practical training. Emphasis is placed on hands-on laboratory work, workshops, and real-world applications to ensure students gain industry-relevant skills.

Graduates of the diploma program are well-prepared for employment in power generation and distribution companies, manufacturing industries, electrical maintenance, automation sectors, and public utilities. The course also equips students to pursue higher education such as lateral entry into B.Tech programs.

Eligibility

• Passed 10th (HSC/Matriculation) or equivalent examination

• Secured minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by SCTE&VT, Odisha

• Admission through DTE & T, Odisha counseling process, as per government norms
